India Visa Requirements

Checklist of paperwork required for BUSINESS Visa:

• Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months - beyond intended stay duration with minimum 2 blank visa pages (note: the amendment pages at the end of the passport - do not count as Visa pages
• Visa Application form duly filled Online, PRINT, SIGN, Please ensure:
  • The form is duly filled with all information
  • If any information is not applicable - please write NA
  • Fill all relevant phone numbers, if the home or cell phone number does not exist - please repeat the contact number available
  • Fill all dates in the DD/MM/YYYY format
  • Print forms on 2 separate sheets of paper
  • 2 SIGNATURES required - Each applicant must sign completely inside the box, below their picture, on top right corner of the 1st page and on the 2nd page at the bottom of the Visa form

• Two (2) recent photographs
  • passport size. (2 x 2 in)
  • Photos must be recent, frontal-view, of the same batch, untouched, taken on white background
  • showing applicant wearing no glasses of any kind, except for prescription eyewear
  • Please write first and last names of applicant in pencil on back of photos
• Applicants must submit a photocopy with proof of residence/address that matches the present address on the visa application exactly. Any One of the following can be provided:
  • Photocopy of state issued ID (Driver License or ID) -  Do not cut your driver's license copy down to a smaller size. Please leave the copy on regular sized paper.
  • Major utility bill (Water, Gas, Electric, Sewage)
  • Copy of a valid/current lease containing both the landlord and tenant signatures must be submitted.
• A company letter of guarantee on official letterhead - stating the name and position of the applicant in the company, purpose of visit or nature of business to be performed, full names & address of business reference in India, duration of stay, guarantee of return transportation and financial support while in India.The Letter MUST indicate the validity of the Visa applied - 1 year, 5 year, 10 year (Similar validity MUST be mentioned on the letter of Invitation as well)
• Letter of Invitation from the associates in India - Stating applicant's name, passport details, purpose & duration of Visit.The Letter MUST indicate the validity of the Visa applied - 1 year, 5 year, 10 year (Similar validity MUST be mentioned on the Company Letter of Guarantee as well)
• Copy of Indian Company - Certificate of Incorporation
• Additional for non-US citizens:
  • Copy of original passport
  • Copy of original or valid alien registration card or valid US resident Visa

Visa Fees:

• $ 197.90 (Visa validity 12 months - Multiple entry) 
• $ 287.90 (Visa validity 60 months - Multiple entry) 

Time Taken: 5 - 7 Business days

IMPORTANT

For your travel, please ensure that:

• Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months - beyond intended stay duration with minimum 2 blank visa pages (note: the amendment pages at the end of the passport - do not count as Visa pages)
• Proof of sufficient funds required to cover the stay and / or documents for the next / onward destination.
• Important - Must hold return / onward tickets, or else traveler can be denied entry.

• CLEAR SCAN of recent photograph

  • showing applicant wearing no glasses of any kind, except for prescription eyewear
• FOR BUSINESS VISIT: Copy of Applicant's Business card is needed

• $102.50 

Time Taken: 48 - 72 hrs
