Antarctica Travel Visa Not Required For Citizens of United States.
There is no visa requirement for Antarctica. However, due to shipping schedules and unpredictable weather, it is often necessary to pull into foreign ports. The Visa requirements of en route countries, visited / transited by the transporting carrier apply.
IMPORTANT:
For your travel, please ensure that:
- Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months - beyond intended stay duration with minimum 2 blank visa pages (note: the amendment pages at the end of the passport - do not count as Visa pages).
- Proof of sufficient funds required to cover the stay and / or documents for the next / onward destination.
- Important - Must hold return / onward tickets, or else traveler can be denied entry.
