Mauritania Travel Visa Required For Citizens of United States.
Checklist of paperwork required for Tourist Visa:
- Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months - beyond intended stay duration with minimum 2 blank adjacent (facing) visa pages (note: the amendment pages at the end of the passport - do not count as Visa pages)
- Visa application form duly filled Online, PRINT & SIGN
- Every section of the application form must be completed.
- Incomplete forms will be subject to delay
- Four (4) recent photographs
- passport size. (2 x 2 in)
- Photos must be recent, frontal-view, of the same batch, untouched, taken on white background
- showing applicant wearing no glasses of any kind, except for prescription glasses
- Please write first and last names of applicant in pencil on back of photos
- Copy of valid International Certificate of Vaccination (yellow fever)
- Request letter from the applicant stating the applicant's name, passport details, purpose & duration of stay, guarantee of return transportation and financial support while in Mauritania
- Copy of the travel itinerary
- Copy of Stay Confirmation in Mauritania
- Copy of the applicant's most recent monthly bank statement. The statement must clearly show the applicant's name as the account holder, the balances of the accounts, and the date of the statement.
- Additional requirements for non-US citizens:-
- Copy of original passport
- Copy of original or valid alien registration card or valid US resident Visa.
Time Taken: 4 - 8 weeks, ALL Cases are referred for Visa Authorization to Mauritania.
Visa Processing Fee: $ 116 (Single entry - 60 days validity); $ 154 (Single entry - 180 day validity)
