Suriname Visa Requirements

Checklist of paperwork required for the Tourist Visa:

• Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months - beyond intended stay duration with minimum 2 blank visa pages (note: the amendment pages at the end of the passport - do not count as Visa pages)
• Two (2) visa application forms, electronically typed, completed and duly signed by the applicant. Please ensure:
  • - Application forms must be completed in full & no column to be left blank.
  • - Application MUST BE FILLED ONSCREEN ONLY (Handwritten applications are not acceptable for Visa processing
  • - Original signature of the applicant on each page of Visa form.
  • - Please fill answers to all questions on the visa - do not leave any section blank. If any portion does not apply - please write N/A or "not-applicable"
  • - In case - your parents are deceased - you must still provide their full names, do not leave the section blank & do not write "deceased"
  • - Marital status must be stated as applicable - if single or never married OR if married / divorced / separated / divorced - Please write your spouse information
  • - Applications with incomplete information - may be subject to delay
• Two (2) recent photographs
  • - passport size. (2 x 2 in)
  • - Photos must be recent, frontal-view, of the same batch, untouched, taken on white background
  • - showing applicant wearing no glasses of any kind, except for prescription eyewear
  • - Please write first and last names of applicant in pencil on back of photos
• A company letter of guarantee on official letterhead - stating the name and position of the applicant in the company, purpose of visit or nature of business to be performed, full names & address of business reference in Algeria, duration of stay, guarantee of return transportation and financial support while in Algeria. Original company letter to be submitted.
• Letter of invitation from the Inviting company in Algeria stating applicant's name, passport details, purpose & duration of stay. Original Letter of Invitation to be submitted.
• A copy of the travel itinerary - The Embassy of Algeria advises applicants to make their travel arrangements based on the date of entry of their visa. Applicants should not arrive in Algeria before that date; they will not be allowed to enter. In case of change in travel plans, applicants must apply for a new visa.
• Proof of accommodations or Confirmed hotel reservations.
• In individual cases, you may be required to provide additional documents.
• If you are a U.S legal resident, provide a copy of your Alien Card / or legal resident status in USA
• Additional for non-US citizens:
  • - Copy of original passport
  • - Copy of original or valid alien registration card or valid US resident Visa.

Time Taken: 5 - 10 business days in Washington DC (per consular discretion) NOTE: NO Visa Submissions / Collections on Friday.

Visa Validity: Generally the Visas are issued for Single / Multiple entry, valid for 3 months. Visa validity is issued case to case basis - per Consular discretion.

Visa Processing Fee: $160.00 - Fees must be paid in US dollars with either a money order or cashier's check made payable to the Embassy of Algeria. In addition, Outsourcing fee $31.00 is payable by postal money order to "ABC Visa & Passport SVCS"

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Processing of an application may be delayed, if prior Approval by Algerian authorities is required. Furthermore, the Embassy reserves the right to request additional documentation from any applicant. It is not the responsibility of the Embassy if there is any delay in the processing of the visa application.

Having an Israel stamp in your passport may stop the applicant from entering Algeria.

For your travel, please ensure that:

• Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months - beyond intended stay duration with minimum 2 blank visa pages (note: the amendment pages at the end of the passport - do not count as Visa pages)
• Proof of sufficient funds required to cover the stay and / or documents for the next / onward destination.
• Important - Must hold return / onward tickets, or else traveler can be denied entry.
