Zambia Travel Visa Required For Citizens of United States.

Checklist of paperwork required for TOURIST Visa:

  • Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months - beyond intended stay duration with minimum 2 blank adjacent (facing) visa pages (note: the amendment pages at the end of the passport - do not count as Visa pages)
  • Two (2) sets of visa application form duly filled online, PRINT and signed by the applicant
  • Two (2) passport-sized photo (attached to application form) - Applicant MUST PLEASE ensure to SIGN the back of each photo
  • Copy of Applicant's photo I/d page
  • Copy of International Vaccination Certificate (yellow fever)
  • Copy of Travel itinerary
  • Copy of Tour Confirmation or Stay Confirmation or Letter of Invitation from your Host or Inviting person in Zambia.
  • In individual cases, you may be required to provide additional documents.
  • If you are a U.S legal resident, provide a copy of your Alien Card / or legal resident status in USA
  • Additional requirements for non-US citizens: - Copy of original passport - Copy of original or valid alien registration card or valid US resident Visa.

Fee: USD 85 - (3 month - Single entry Visa) USD 115 (6 month - Double entry Visa) Additional of $ 50 for expedited Visa processing fees

Time Taken: 5 - 7 business days, no submission on THU / FRI

IMPORTANT

For your travel, please ensure that:

  • Proof of sufficient funds required to cover the stay and / or documents for the next / onward destination.
  • Important - to hold return / onward tickets, or else traveler can be denied entry.

  • A Letter of Guarantee addressed to the "The Embassy of Zambia" from your employer stating applicant's name, passport details, the purpose and duration of your trip, sponsorship information and financial guarantee for expenses that will be incurred in Zambia.
  • Letter of Invitation from your business associate in Zambia.
  • Copy of International Vaccination Certificate (yellow fever)
  • Copy of Travel itinerary
  • In individual cases, you may be required to provide additional documents.
  • If you are a U.S legal resident, provide a copy of your Alien Card / or legal resident status in USA
