Democratic Republic of Congo Visa Requirements

Checklist of paperwork required for BUSINESS Visa:

• Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months - beyond intended stay duration with minimum 2 blank visa pages (note: the amendment pages at the end of the passport - do not count as Visa pages
• Two (2) sets of Visa Application duly filled and signed by the applicant
• Two (2) recent photographs
  • passport size. (2 x 2 in)
  • Photos must be recent, frontal-view, of the same batch, untouched, taken on white background
  • showing applicant wearing no glasses of any kind, except for prescription eyewear
  • Please write first and last names of applicant in pencil on back of photos
• Copy of valid International Vaccination Certificate (Yellow Fever)
• A copy of the travel itinerary
• Proof of sufficient funds required to cover the stay and / or documents for the next / onward destination.
• A company letter of guarantee on official letterhead - stating the name and position of the applicant in the company, purpose of visit or nature of business to be performed, full names & address of business reference in Democratic Republic of Congo, duration of stay, guarantee of return transportation and financial support while in Dem. Rep. of Congo.
• Letter of invitation from the Inviting company - DULY NOTARIZED, in Dem. Rep. of Congo stating applicant's name, passport details, purpose & duration of stay
• In individual cases, you may be required to provide additional documents.
• Additional for non-US citizens:
  • Copy of original passport
  • Copy of original or valid alien registration card or valid US resident Visa

Visa Fees:

• $ 115 (single entry - 1 month visa); $ 155 (multiple entry - 1 month visa)
• $ 150 (single entry - 2 month visa); $ 200 (multiple entry - 2 month visa)
• $ 200 (single entry - 3 month visa); $ 250 (multiple entry - 3 month visa)
• $ 300 (single entry - 6 month visa); $ 400 (multiple entry - 6 month visa)

Payment method : MONEY ORDER, CERTIFIED CHECK OR COMPANY CHECK

Payable to the order of : EMBASSY OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO

IMPORTANT

For your travel, please ensure that:
