- Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months - beyond intended stay duration with minimum 2 blank visa pages (note: the amendment pages at the end of the passport - do not count as Visa pages.
- Two (2) sets of Visa Application duly filled and signed by the applicant
- Two (2) recent photographs
- passport size. (2 x 2 in)
- Photos must be recent, frontal-view, of the same batch, untouched, taken on white background
- showing applicant wearing no glasses of any kind, except for prescription eyewear
- Please write first and last names of applicant in pencil on back of photos
- Copy of valid International Vaccination Certificate (Yellow Fever)
- A copy of the travel itinerary
- Additional for non-US citizens:
- Copy of original passport
- Copy of original or valid alien registration card or valid US resident Visa
Visa Fees: $ 50, Payable by Money order
Time Taken: 2 - 3 Days in Washington DC

- A company letter of guarantee on official letterhead - stating the name and position of the applicant in the company, purpose of visit or nature of business to be performed, full names & address of business reference in Djibouti, duration of stay, guarantee of return transportation and financial support while in Djibouti.
- Letter of invitation from the Inviting company in Djibouti stating applicant's name, passport details, purpose & duration of stay - if any
- Additional for non-US citizens:
- Copy of original passport
- Copy of original or valid alien registration card or valid US resident Visa.
