Myanmar Travel Visa Required For Citizens of United States.

Burma is the historic name of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Checklist of paperwork required for the Tourist Visa:

  • Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months - beyond intended stay duration with minimum 2 blank visa pages (note: the amendment pages at the end of the passport - do not count as Visa pages)
  • Visa application form & Work History form duly filled Online, PRINT & SIGN
    • Every section of the application form must be completed.
    • Incomplete forms will be subject to delay
  • Two (2) recent photographs
    • passport size. (2 x 2 in)
    • Photos must be recent, frontal-view, of the same batch, untouched, taken on white background
    • showing applicant wearing no glasses of any kind, except for prescription glasses
    • Please write first and last names of applicant in pencil on back of photos
  • A copy of the travel itinerary
  • Confirmed Hotel Reservation or Stay Confirmation
  • Additional for non-US citizens:
    • Copy of original passport
    • Copy of original or valid alien registration card or valid US resident Visa.

Time Taken: 10 business days

Visa Processing Fee: $ 20 (Single entry - 28 day stay / 3 month validity)

IMPORTANT

For your travel, please ensure that:

  • Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months - beyond intended stay duration with minimum 2 blank visa pages (note: the amendment pages at the end of the passport - do not count as Visa pages)
  • Proof of sufficient funds required to cover the stay and / or documents for the next / onward destination.
  • Important - to hold return / onward tickets, or else traveler can be denied entry.

  • A Company letter of guarantee on official letterhead, stating the name and position of the applicant in the company, purpose of visit or nature of business to be performed, full names & address of business reference in Myanmar, duration of stay, guarantee of return transportation and financial support while in Myanmar
  • Letter of Invitation from Company registered in Myanmar
  • Additional for non-US citizens:
    • Copy of original passport
    • Copy of original or valid alien registration card or valid US resident Visa.

Time Taken: 10 business days

Visa Processing Fee: $ 30 (Single entry - 70 day stay / 3 month validity); $ 150 (Multiple entry Visa)NOTE: First Time applicants are ONLY granted Single Entry Visas.
