Guinea Travel Visa Required For Citizens of United States.

Checklist of paperwork required for TOURIST Visa:

  • Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months - beyond intended stay duration with minimum 2 blank visa pages (note: the amendment pages at the end of the passport - do not count as Visa pages
  • Two (2) sets of Visa Application duly filled and signed by the applicant.
  • Two (2) recent photographs
    • passport size. (2 x 2 in)
    • Photos must be recent, frontal-view, of the same batch, untouched, taken on white background
    • showing applicant wearing no glasses of any kind, except for prescription eyewear
    • Please write first and last names of applicant in pencil on back of photos
  • Copy of valid International Vaccination Certificate (Yellow Fever)
  • A copy of the travel itinerary
  • Invitation Letter from the host, or inviting family / friends in Guinea
  • If you are a U.S legal resident, provide a copy of your Alien Card / or legal resident status in USA
  • Additional for non-US citizens: - Copy of original passport - Copy of original or valid alien registration card or valid US resident Visa.

Visa Fees: Normal processing: $ 100 ( 3month validity) $ 200 (6 - 12 month validity); Expedite processing: $ 200 ( 3 month validity) $ 400 (6 - 12 month validity)

Payable by Money order or Certified check - to the order of: EMBASSY OF GUINEA

Time Taken: 2 - 3 Days in Washington DC

  • Proof of sufficient funds required to cover the stay and / or documents for the next / onward destination.
  • Important - Must hold return / onward tickets, or else traveler can be denied entry.

  • Letter of Invitation from the associates in Guinea - Stating applicant's name, passport details, purpose & duration of Visit.
  • If you are a U.S legal resident, provide a copy of your Alien Card / or legal resident status in USA
